The spirit controls the physical. Samson’s physical strength was the fulfillment of a covenant that was made in the realm of the spirit. And that’s why, the first thing the enemy went after when they came for Samson was the source of his powers. A powerless Christian will become a prey in the hands of the enemy. And such is the case of Samson.
I tell you verily today, whatever you do in life ensure you are spiritually powerful. Seek power from the realm of power so that you can triumph over the enemy that has taken you hostage.
How To Get Spiritual Powers
Now you want to get powerful spiritually but you don’t know how, here are ways to get spiritual power.
It is a Covenanted Promise
To every believer, power is a covenant promise of God to us. The book of Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” This portion of the scripture explicitly explain how we can get power. We shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon us. So when we are going on the quest of finding power, we must first seek the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the presence of God in the life of a believer. When the Holy Spirit comes upon us, it gives us power. We can get the Holy Spirit by constant studying of the scripture and prayer. Releasing our wholeness to the power of God. When the spirit that wake Christ from the dead dwells in us it will quicken our mortal body.
Through Personal Relationship With God
The extent of power we have depends on the level of relationship we have with him. Apostle Paul said in the book Philippians 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
The more time we spend in the place of prayer and study determines how far God will reveal himself to us. The revelation of God to us gives us power. So to have the power we must know God.
